Liz Ch 1

Q: When we as a civilization look back upon our failed or altered attempts, what is the one thing Hayak says we are not ready to accept?

A: We are unable to accept "that the present state of the world may be the result of genuine error on our own part and that the pursuit of some of our own most cherished ideals has apparently produced results utterly different from those which we expected." (Hayak 13-14)
